I used to use this method a lot but found it a little cumbersome to reset up for each project. So in the past I would use Eclipse's variables such as project name to help make this a little more generic so I could run it on any project. In the end I find ANT to give me way more control and help automate my documentation every time I recompile the swf/swc but as you mentioned this is a great way to quickly set up a ASDoc script.
