Firstly make sure you are using an absolute address for the location of your .air file. Secondly I would double check the version number you are using for the app compared to the version number in your app-descriptor.xml, make sure they match. My only other suggestion involves server MIME types. I have never run into the issue, but have heard of people needing to add AIR in their MIME types for the server. @jiten. A couple of thoughts. Try to get a new AIR file from the author of application" But you see: I am the author of application, and I can run it perfectly from my PC and install my app.. the problem only occurs when trying to install from the hosting server.
